    The Pump was already replaced btw, i see the old one is from LuK ("Lamellen- und Kupplungsbau" / lamella- and clutchproduction). They invented the dual-mass flywheel 1985. But of course today its just a name / brand and not a standard for quality.

    Sir please I have a problem with my car indeed my Toyota premio car power steering working so hard at right steering , yesterday I approached to get it fixed. mechanic had opened the main power hose line and drive out the piston and then draw out the bottom drain out filter and then re fixed the piston and main hose line then he added the fresh power oil simply then he start engine and result is that now the steering is more harder at both side the problem now is bigger and mechanic is puzzled he yet failed to find reason. Please if you guide solving my this problem

    My chev cruze had its pulley seize and when it did it snapped the belt... and because GM is no longer in South Africa and due to covid it was very difficult to find the pulley to replace it

    My steering is always stiff, didn't have power steering in 1961. Also, it may be good to mention that the torque specs you mention are for your specific vehicles, so that someone doesn't destroy their car trying to fix it. Maybe tell us to research the specs? Anyways, nice work, as always.

    I'd sell the original wheels if you have konigs. Those can net you another $100. Also the carpet you removed later on - I'd try to sell it too. Someone with a flooded car would be hapy to have a non-moldy carpet.

    Wow I don't even know a thing about how power steering works and yet this is still interesting to watch. I was reading up on it and saw about a new tech called 'EPAS', which is electric. It's interesting as I have a Toyota 4Runner with hydraulic steering and a Mazda CX-5 with EPAS. I think the Toyota steers better then the Mazda even though EPAS is arguably better as it is not putting drag on the engine. At least that's what I can conclude based on what I know...

    Reminds me of my 2005 325i.. After five yrs the car became a cash eating monster. Radiator failed.. expansion tank cracked.. Windshield fluid pump.. Thermostats.. Plastic coolant lines.. Alternator.. PCV crankcase vent valve system.. Water pump.. Fuel pump.. Window motors and regulators.. Valve cover gasket.. Oil filter housing gasket.. Belts.. Upper and lower rubber intake hose.. Front and rear bushings.. Shocks and struts.. Light control module.. All failed. What a nightmare!
